People in Israel say the two meeting of Maccabi Haifa against Sturm Gratz is the best opertonty of Israeli team to be in the UEFA Champions League. So after all the stupid thoughts of the "smart" people in Israel now it is time to prove for the Karmelian team.

The best news to Haifa came from Darby County who didn’t manage to get Igabiny Yakobo's work permit. So the Nigerian striker will play at Maccabi in the first leg of two. Haifa look very unhappy after Nir Davidovic finished the season because a knee injury, Shahar the president of Haifa didn’t wait to mach and loaned Dudu Awate from the city rivals Hapoel Haifa. Till now Haifa looked like a chick that didn’t become a bird and every one hope the green team will be more evil and kick the hated Austrians out of the competition. All the Israeli fans and me still remember the arrow that Andy Hertzog sent to our harts in the 90^th minute at Israel Austria game that was played several months ago in Ramat Gan Stadium. We want revenge!

Haifa will have all their best players from last year champion team except Yossi Benayoon. Awate will open as goalkeeper while Benado and the new sign Ajipor will start as the central defenders. It is still a mystery about whom Shum, the Haifa coach, will put in the bench after he told all the Israeli press that Yakobo will start. The two Croatian stars, Rosu and Pralija will definitely start in the midfield.

In the Gratz team there is no problems after the team got back to the winning streak with 4 wins in a row. Jezy Becezk former Maccabi Haifa player will be on the spotlight after his great day in Haifa. With Becezk Haifa dismissed Paris San German the great French team. Haifa knows that a win will really lift up the morality of people in Israel. But Israel suffered big losses and heartbreaks in UEFA Champions League qualify all over the years.

Who is hat: Haifa: Rafi Cohen the Israeli striker opened the season with a lot of goals and great performance. If Yakobo will not score the goal he will be the market.

Who is hat: Gratz: CHARLES AMOAH is the best striker of Gratz till now and he will try to continue his performance in this game up at Bulgaria.

Score: Very hard to say what will happen cause Haifa look different with Yakobo and Awate. I believe 1-1 will be the final score. Yakobo will score for Haifa while Amoah will strike back.

DID U KNOW: 10 years back from now Haifa played against Casino Zaltzborg anther Austrian side in the UEFA Champions League with more hopes then this two matches but Haifa played weak and lost 2-1 at home and 3-1 at Austria. Vasili Kardash scored in Haifa while Alon Hazan shriveled the score in Zaltzborg.
