Irony Rishon Lezion is unnecessary team until these days they didn’t had one day
of glory. They didn’t gain any trophy yet although they play in the Israeli
league 13 years now. The only thing they had in these years were runner up in
the cup of 96'.

Whom how think that something else might happened this year is kidding himself because this year Irony Rishon Lezion seems more venerable then ever. Irony Rishon Lezion looks like they handing to the second division but last year was the same when Giora Shpigel took charge of the team. The start was good when Rishon Lezion was in the first place takes to a lot of goals by Shei Holtzman. But at the end Irony fell down and almost went down to the second division. One or two point separated them from regulation to the second division.
In the goalie of Irony Rishon Lezion we can find
Shlomi Ben Hemo. But he will struggle to sit good in his role because Yaniv
Mizrahi is a very good keeper that would like to be the first keeper. Nir Gal is
the best young keeper in the league, but he will seek for games. People say Gal
is the next big keeper in the national team.
In the center of defense we can find Moshe Sabag. Sabag is a good defender.
Andri Zabialov from Ukraine is the new transferred at the back. Gogoz Vajinski
also can in the summer. The polish defender came from Maccabi Tel Aviv and can
also play in midfield. Dani Albert is fine defender but he will stay at the
bench for the start. Moti Koltov and Tomer Eliyaho will be backup player while
Tzion Cohen and Roei Alyaho will seek for first minutes in the Ligat-Al.
At the midfield I can mark Eyal Ben Ami as the best
player. The man who came from Hapoel Tel Aviv last year should continue his nice
performance of the last year when he took the leadership in the team. Sharon
Marziano will try to help him but it is not sure that he will play a lot this
year. Haim Hajaj is a good player that once was marked as one of the big talents
of Israel but… yes like all players he fell down. Vitali Komernitzki is another
key player for Irony Rishon Lezion's success this year. Shalev Menash is
wonderful player that in salience made his mark in the team at now he is in the
eyes of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa. Once a great player but now not so
good is the case with Avi Pitosi former Maccabi Petach Tikva player. Eli Gabay
came from the youth team this year.
The biggest star of the team come from the striking force, Shei Holtzman is the
star of the team. Shei Holtzman played once in Europe in Austria but wasn’t a
big success, nowadays he do some magic in Itan Shalom's team. You have to watch
him. Nisan Kapeta is another fine player. Last year he spent at BNYI Yehouda but
now he is back! Mati Avraham will be both strikers sub while Rafi Mizrahi and
Izi Silok can't take it easy if they want some minutes in the field.
Rishon Lezion has good defense nice offence and fair midfield. With this team Itan Shalom need to bring successful days to the club. Can he do it?
Expectations: 8-10th spot in the
league, win the cup or toto cup.
Reality: 11th place and will be out of the cup in the first
round although they might surprise some of us. Maybe the toto cup will go Irony
Rishon Lezion although they will be too involved in the struggle against the
drop to the second division.
Player to watch: Shalev Menash: wonderful player that really took the
eyes on him. After one good year he needs to improve his game more in order to
became better. Irony Rishon Lezion is a great place to him to grow up if he can
be the leader this year he will go to better places.

DiD u Know: Last year they had Siad Halilovic. The Bosnian is a former Hapoel Beer Sheva player that was the star when they took the cup.
