After the goal Leeds had all the attacks, Hapoel got back into the game in the 25th but right when they where back came Leeds goal. Hapoel Tel Aviv looked very weak at that time, actually Hapoel Tel Aviv had some good chances all match long but couldn’t smash them in.
In the 31st minute Halis made a mistake and lost a ball to Smith in the box, the English international striker didn’t do any mistakes and against Elimelch equalized the score. Halis defensive error was only the first of many errors in Hapoel Tel Aviv defence. All the goals for Leeds came after Hapoel mistakes.
2 minutes after the goal Afek's shot from 25 meters went straight to the bar. 5 minutes later Leeds kicked the ball to the bar it was Baremby.
Alan Smith scored the 3rd goal for Leeds from short range after good cross by Herry Kewell, 3-1 to the English side after 9 minutes in the second half.
Balili was close to score but Robinson saved his shot.
Abuksis got a red card 11 minutes to the end after to many talks and fouls.
