Ohana gave Ohana took

BNYI Yehouda is the last small team that took the Israeli championship. It came in 89/90 season, it was a big shock for everyone in the Israeli soccer.

will he look like this at the end of this season? Ohana

Moshe Sinay was a player those days, Hezi Shrazi that plays in the team now was also a player at the historic team. BNYI Yehouda was always a team of the neighborhood, her stadium is a small place in the middle of a tiny neighborhood. All people in the neighborhood know only one thing, that is soccer. They had tragic days the past two years when they fell down to the second division. In the second division they had some harsh times but they are back into the first division. Eli Ohana was the man who brought them to second division but also was the man to bring them back into the first division. I give you one guess of who is BNYI Yehouda's coach nowadays? 12 points, yes it is still Eli Ohana. Eli Ohana is one of the historic names in the Israeli football, he played almost his all years in Bietar Jerusalem and even coached there one year. He moved from Bietar to Mechlen from Belgium and took a historic Cup winners cup with the anonymous team. But the famous Israeli never played at a big team in Europe. So he came back to Israel to Bietar Jerusalem when they were at the second division. With Ohana Bietar glimpsed and went to the first division and also took Championship! Ohana may have magical legs but his coaching days wasn’t so good.

At Ohana's goal we will find inexperienced Avi Ivgi. The second goalkeeper is also a rocky his name is Menahem Kortzki that came to BNYI Yehouda after poor years at Natanya.
In the defense Ran Ben Shimon is the newest and biggest name. Ran Ben Shimon is a former international player that came to give some help to Ohana's unsettled defense. Jefri Ishay or Dani Mishan will be the man near Ben Shimon. Roni Gafni will play as left back. All 3 players that I just mentioned came from Maccabi Tel Aviv. Yaron Avihayil might be Ohana right back. Yossi Dora can do the same job.
The midfield got some good players this summer. Manor Hasan is biggest name in the midfield but he disappointed last two years in Maccabi Haifa and Bietar Jerusalem. He is a key player to BNYI Yehouda's success this season. Valadimir Andonov is another significant player. But the Bulgarian spent all his years back in the second division so in is a mystery if he can deliver this year in first division. Salah Hasarma will play as defensive midfielder like last year. Moti Sasom will be his body in the defensive midfield. Avraham Slomon is a great young player that may be a star one-day. Shahar Mizrahi is old player that will seek for minutes. Another seeker is Ronen Badash former Maccabi Natanya's star. Tomer Iyoan, Kobi Dajni and Mor Golan the young and talented players at squad might do some nice things if they will get some minutes.
The striking force seems to be the best area of Ohana's team. Gostavo Foentes the Argentine is the man to mark. He came from Honduras. Hezi Shirazi is the hart of this team and again will give everything just for the team. Oren Nisim is a striker that doesn’t know how to score goals, yet every team in the league wants him. Asi Baldot played a lot last year and showed his big talent, now he needs to do it in the first division.
Ohana has a nice and sympathetic team. But his defense seems to be corky. Only Ben Shimon has expiriace. Ohana's offensive midfield and strikers look like the best part of the team. Now they need to score some goals. Eli Ohana always plays attacking football so with his group of good strikers I see him play with 2 striker and 2 attacking midfielders.

Expectations: 6-9th spot in the league, win the cup or toto cup.
Reality: 11th place and will be out of the cup in the second or 3rd round. Maybe the toto cup will go to BNYI Yehouda although they will be busy to stay in the league. I believe that Ohana will stay as far as day 10 or less.
Player to watch: Avraham Slomon: they say he is a big talented player but he has to prove it. This year is important year for him because everyone knows that BNYI Yehouda will be in the second division next year.
Possible starting 11: Avi Ivgi; Yaron Avihayil, Ran Ben Shimon, Dani Mishan, Roni Gafni; Moti Sasom, Salah Hasarma, Valadimir Andonov, Manor Hasan; Hezi Shirazi, Gostavo Foentes.

DiD u Know: Haim Revivo that plays now at Fenerbahce started his professional football career at BNYI Yehouda. We might say he was discovered there.
