This is MathKnight's page and it is dedicated to my favorite animals. Enjoy!

Bat
Picture by Pearson Scott Foresman Bats are excellent survivors and are the flying lords of the nocturnal darkness, i.e. they roam the night. Navigating by echo, they fly and hunt for small insects, eat fruits and some (the vampires) even drink blood. They are dark and Gothic yet helpful to mankind and nature. The dread they shed in man was used by comics hero Bruce Wayne to fight crime and evil under the disguise of hugh armored bat - "Batman".

Snail (Shablool)
Picture by Jurgen Schoner. Whitened by MathKnight Hidden in their shells, the snails got the idea of armor. Slow and vurnable yet good survivors which can be found in masses, on ground and under sea, with dazzling beautiful and spectecular helix shells. Indeed, the helix shells of the snail is a beautiful thing and one of nature's fine creations. I have a collection of hundreds of shells. Beside, who doesn't know the children song: "Beralle, Beralle, Tze HaChutza..."

Triceratops
Picture by Quadell Triceratops mean three-horned face, which describe well this mighty dinosaur. Armed with two long eyebrows horns, one sharp nose horn and solid-bone frill (which may have protected his neck), the Triceratops have captured the imagination of many in its famous combats against the Tyranosaurus Rex. The Triceratops was an equal opponent to the T-Rex and could kill or injured fatally the giant carnivore with a header of its horny head to the T-Rex stomach. The Triceratops was very common throughout North America and it is probably the best known ceratopside.

Crocodilia
Picture by Dewet Crocodiles and Aligators are probably the most powerful predetors today, armored with scales and armed with big body, strong tail, powerful jaws and sharp teeths. Almost no one dare them (exceptions are Hippopotamus and Anaconda snakes) and for good reason. The crocodilia are ancient beasts and survived what kills the dinosaurs. They are truely super-predetors.

Lion
Picture by yaaaay King of the animals, the bravest and the most powerful cat. Its majestic golden hair around his neck and head and its powerful roar made the lion a symbol of courage and majesty. Every man like to feel like a lion.

Seven Spots Ladybird
Picture by Dominik Stodulski The prettiest beatle - red and shiney. The ladybird is very helpful to agriculture since it eats small bugs that damage the plants. Moreover, it has a very Jewish name in Hebrew ("Parat Moshe Rabenu", Moses Cow). Its scientific name is Coccinella septempunctata.
