Hello!
Greetings from Montreal. This city
(also an island) is located in the province of Québec. It is home to The Montreal
Canadiens (NHL Hockey) and The Montreal Alouettes (CFL). Each summer there is the
International Jazz
Festival immediately followed by The Just For Laughs Festival.
Other annual events include the Du Maurier Tennis competition, The F1 Grand Prix race and the Montreal International
Fireworks Competition.
I love Music. My favourites are Classical, Jazz and Pop. I'm open to others as well. Music is in all of us! I play the trumpet from time to time; mine is a silver-plated Yamaha 4320ST; the mouthpiece I use is a Vincent Bach 3C with the Yamaha 11C4 (equivalent to the Bach 7C) being the alternate. My alternate to the alternate is the clear plastic Bach 5C equivalent. To reduce noise pollution I occasionally use the Yamaha Silent Brass system. It has stopped the cops from coming over. ^_^
I am inspired by The Canadian
Brass: they're a brass quintet formed in 1970 in the Toronto area. The Brass is a
wonderful ensemble! Check out my tribute to them. After seeing them featured on CBC, I was so enchanted by their playing that I
immediately wanted to switch to the trumpet from the clarinet: I did!
Badminton is my favourite sport. The racquets I use are the Yonex Muscle Power 99 & Yonex Nanospeed 7000. I have participated in a few tournaments organized by Badminton Québec. My other favourite sport is table tennis, or better known to some of you as ping-pong.
Thank you for taking time to visit. Hope to see you here again. Have a great day! |
