- 8th International Competition on the Best Cartoon on the Topic of BEER GOLDEN KEG 2002 On Monday, 1st April 2002, during the vernissage of the best-competing works at the Šarišská Gallery in Prešov, on the basis of the Competition Jury’s decision, the following prizes will be awarded to the best authors: GRAND PRIZE (Grand Prix) – Golden Keg and 7 000 Sk 1st Prize – Small GOLDEN KEG and 5 000 Sk 2nd Prize – Small GOLDEN KEG and 4 000 Sk 3rd Prize – Small GOLDEN KEG and 3 000 Sk The Competition Jury reserves the right not to grant any of the prizes or to grant other special prizes. After it finishes in Prešov, the exhibition will be re-installed in Ceské Budejovice and possibly in other places as well. The organisers will accept for the competition all the works that will be delivered at the address of the Šarišská Gallery in Prešov by Monday, 11th March 2002, when the Competition Jury meets. The organisers of the competition reserve the right to use selected works in promotional materials, while each competitor will receive a competition catalogue. Competition rules: Each author can send at maximum five original works in original, including graphic techniques. The competition is open to everybody, and it is not restricted in terms of methods of artistic processing. The formats of the works should not exceed the dimensions of 24 cm x 33 cm (max. A3 format). The competition is non-anonymous. Each work should be signed on the backside and bear the author’s full address. The rewarded works will become property of the BEER GALLERY in Prešov. Send your works at the address: ŠARIŠSKÁ GALÉRIA (p. Fedor Vico), ul. Hlavná 51, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia. Please mark the envelope containing your works with the word ‘PIVO’. |
