These amazing "markings" appear in wheat fields all over the world, its an easy answer to shout "hoax", and given enough time and good planning any of us could make a crop circle, however, they appear OVERNIGHT ! often when there is only three or four hours darkness. Often sheet lightening or "lights in the sky" are reported at the same time. You can see from the intricaces of the designs it would take many hours for even a large team of people to make them.
Many of the first people to find a "circle" have said walking on the design was like walking on broken glass. Obviously intended to be viewed from the air, some even take into account undulations in the field that would distort the image. |

Some circles are incredibly complex geometric designs,
a recent study of the image on the right showed there are more than 150 cirlesof many different sizes forming this pattern, it was calculated it would have taken days of non stop work to make this, yet it appeared overnight AND strange lights were reported in the sky ! |

The first crop circle was found in England almost 300 years ago, and til today the UK has many discovered each year. Other parts of Europe as well as Australia, Canada and the US all have reular disoveries of circles. |
