From the deserts of the middle east to the west coast of scotland, the outback of australia to the americas and india mysterious lumps of yellow green glass have been found. Mainly composed of silica it is thought to have been formed when the surface of the earth was subjected to immense heat, literally melting the sand crystalising it into this very pure glass as it cools.
This is not a recent phenomenon indeed artifacts crafted from this material have been found at many excavations of ancient sites, in fact a carved scarab was found in tutankhamens tomb !
Then in 1932 while exploring the desert of western egypt a surveyor noticed a strange crunching noise from the desert floor as he drove over it, he had discovered a field of glass ! thousand of tonnes of this "desert glass" strewn over hundreds of kilometers "as though a giant bottle had shattered"!
The strata the glass is found in had been dated to over 8000 years ago. |

There are many ancient texts describing terrible catastrophies during warfare. The best example being "The Mahabharata" an ancient Indian sage speaks of an incident over 5000 years ago, he describes "flying machines" called Vimanas that were used to unleash a power weapon of destruction " a Single projectile unleashing all the power of the universe" continuing "the earth shook, scorched by the terrible heat of this weapon, Elephants burst into flames and ran in terror seeking protection . Over a vast area all animals crumpled to the ground and died, the waters boiled and the creatures residing therin also died. Later he says "An incandescent colum of smoke and fire , as brilliant as ten thousand suns rose in its splendour....it was the unknown weapon, the iron thunderbolt..a gigantic messenger of death.", " the corpses so burnt as to be no longer be recognisable. Hair and nails fell out, pottery broke for no reason and the foodstuffs were poisoned.. In this region an ancient body had 50 times the normal radiation!
If we read this account today we would have no doubt it described a nuclear holocaust, but more than 5000 years ago? |

On the west coast of Scotland there is evidence at some ancient ruined castles of "vitrification" of the walls, some immense heat has been applied "melting" the rock and as it cooled it crystalised leaving the walls with a glass like coating. The intense heat appears to have come from a single direction. |

An article in the 1947 New York Herald Tribune suddenly posed some astonishing questions, the Trinity Nuclear Test Facility, in the New Mexico desert where the first nuclear bomb was exploded was strewn with yellow green glass, formed from the intense heat of the explosion causing the earths surface to melt ! They reported the glass was identical to glass found at an ongoing excavation in egypt
that was found BELOW the layers left at the time of stone age man. How could this be possible ? |

A worrying thought |

has at some time in the past, perhaps on more than one occasion, civilization advanced enough to create nuclear weapons ? and used them to literally "bomb themselves back to the stone age ? |
