Chinese tradition describes an expedition of Buddhist monks led by Hi Shen setting of in the 5th century in search of the legendary "fusang" (earthly paradise) , on the other side of the great eastern ocean.
This distinctive oriental featured jade head was dated to 1500 years ago,and appears to have been made by a chinese Olmek artist.
But it was discovered in a tomb.....in Tenango Mexico !

For decades these spectacular gold "aircraft" have astonished archaeologists, found in the Tolima tombs in Columbia they have been dated to 500AD. Comparable Egyptian relics also display features know only to modern aviation , low delta wing, perfectly proportioned vertical tail and a horizontal elevator. Recent wind tunnel tests and scale models prove this would fly!

In the 14th century the Zeno brothers of Venice were know to have carried out extensive explorations of the north atlantic including parts of iceland and greenland, The map appears to confirm the extent of their travels.
However, it depicts greenland WITHOUT its icecap! There is NO possible way the brothers could have known its coastline, so this must be a copy of an even earlier map!
Additionally the map appears to be based on polar projection, far beyond the modest capabilities of 14th century cartographers. |
