| Rules of the Club Classes start at 6:30 pm and students are asked to be at the school before that time to stretch out quietly. Horseplay is not acceptable at anytime. The use of karate techniques outside of class is not acceptable. Any student caught using karate outside of the school (dojo) maybe remove from the club. Members under 18 should be prepared to perform at all 4H functions including County Day, Regional Day, State Day, and if we are invited, the Big E in Springfield. These events are not required, but kids should make an attempt to perform in them in order to gain leadership and public performance skills. Karate uniforms are not for use outside the dojo. Children under 8 years old must have a parent join with them. This is because children this young often have a hard time with the discipline and need close attention and guidence. We do not want parents just dropping off young kids at the schools and leaving their children behind for our leaders to be responsible for. What is Required from Adults All adults are leaders in the 4H organization. This requires each leader to participate in the 4H events. If you are part of the club, you must be willing to take these reponsiblities. This club has been based on volentary contributions by the adult leaders. Please help. |
