| The Island Central Rules! |
| 1. The Railway PRESIDENT always makes the rules. 2. The Rules are subject to change at any time without prior notification. 3. No Operator can possibly know all of the Rules. 4. If the President suspects the Operators know all of the rules, he will immediately change some or all of the Rules. 6. If the President is wrong, it is due to a misunderstanding which was a direct result of something that an Operator did or said. 7. Pursuant to Rule 6, the Operator must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding. 8. The President may change his mind at any time. 9. The Operators may never change their minds without the express written consent of the President. 11. Any Operator who doesn't abide by the Rules can't take the heat, lacks backbone, and is a wimp. 12. This is the President's railway. People who have criticized it before have been buried under the floor of the house and are heard to scream horribly on rainy nights. But please feel free to express your opinions! 13. While illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, in the event of Operator-perceived anachronisms, detail discrepancies or operating errors, see rule #1. |
