Zelda: The Triforce - part 1
One day in the far away lands of Hyrule a lonely boy was just finishing
breakfast and just then his father struggled
into the house blood-drenched.
His
last words were " Son only you can use the Tri..Tri..Tri...force" and with
that right before his son's eyes he collapsed
at his last breath.
His son was
heartbroken but knew what he had to do...He grabbed his
fathers sword and shield and took of out the front door. But
what is this
Triforce, what does it
do? Why was he looking for it? Suddenly a thought
came to mind : LIBRARY!
He rushed as fast as he could to the library and found a book called
Triforce: The Legendary Power. He started
reading it through and found all
the
information he needed then he set out for Death Mountain to think.
On his quest he stopped by the Lon-Lon Ranch
and bought a horse for
400r even though
it was a steep price he needed a horse. With his horse
Epona he set off for Death Mountain.
On arrival, he went to the abandoned castle (formerly
Aghanims). He
went into the old torn
down building finding a small bag filled with items. He
was only interested in 3 items. The Trisword (level 4 sword),
The Mirror
shield(level 3 shield),
and the Silver Arrows.
He then
set out to Kokiri Forest when he arrived he saw something he
had never seen before. A huge beast was standing in the
middle of the
forest guarding a small
golden triangle - PART OF THE TRIFORCE!
The young boy with his newly acquired sword and Shield slayed the
beast with not to much trouble alas he
had one part of the Triforce he also
found a mysterious flute with a small red stone in it on the ground..
He looked at the strange flute and admired it's
old eroded markings... they
reminded
him of something he read in The children's Book Of Mudora..he
carefully set the flute in a bottle of water he got from
one of the villagers and
in an instant
all of the dirt washed of into the water. He quickly removed the
flute and the stone from the jar and then rinsed out
the jar...the small red
stone resembled
a ruby he had read about in the Book of Mudora revised
edition of it matched the description exactly a small red ruby
about 1/10th
the size of a red rupee
(money) and had a small G engraved on it....The
Goron's Ruby....wow...he held the stone very softly and then carefully
placed it into the flute. Then he put the
flute in his small bag and left the
forest. His next stop would be a long way from his current position he
looked at one of his true great possessions...The
Triforce of Power although
it appeared
to be gold it was actually now a reddish almost ruby color...he
took it pointed at the sky and it was pulled up...no
sooner than he had
pointed it up than
had it come down in a little Triforce shaped container
which it was placed in the bottom left slot. He was amazed to
see the great
detail on the plate but
where the Triforce of Wisdom was there was a
map...he glanced at it and found it most interesting...the whole thing
used
triforces to mark points and used
little gold dots to show the location of
ALL of the Triforce pieces in the land...he knew that the next one Wisdom
would be found in the Great Desert where
an secret waterway had been it
had
dried up and was now a vast desert with a great temple in it's
center..the HUGE temple had many false ways leading to
certain death
traps and it also had
many traps through the correct way..but our hero
knew the way and knew what to do he knew that you need the Triforce
of
Power to get through the right one
and they each had an identifying mark
the Power had an Ancient P on it The Wisdom an Ancient W and the
Courage an Ancient C All he had to do would be put
the Power r in the P
space and walk
down to get Wisdom! sounded easy but it wasn't...on
arrival about 10 days later he saw that the door had been welded
shut by
magic....so he pulled out his
Triforce before the giant plate on the seal (a
booby trap) crushed him used it's magic to push the plate back and then
gain entrance to the temple... He found
himself in a vast hollow passage
way
with three plates at the end of it. He checks his Triforce and then the
three plates for the matching symbol...YES!
the middle plate matched and
a door
flung open in it's place...but not without a Guard to protect the
Triforce....The guard threw a few slashes but our
hero dodged and then
impaled him into
his own sword...he continued down the path and then
suddenly a door flung open and he was now at the peak of Trimountian-the
tallest mountain in the world it is where
the Triforce comes every 1,000
years
to recharge and to recharge the world with power... on the grand
peak was a huge temple with Triforces every where well
not really Triforces
but replicas..The
grand palace was so huge he had to just imagine how tall
it was...but concentrating on his mission he started up to
the charge base
where one of Ganon2's
minions was waiting.... for a fool to challenge. Our
hero finally got up the towering stairs and what he saw was amazing...a
huge Griffin surrounded in a coat of Fire
was looking over two small tiny
items
: a small Sapphire and a small blue Triangle...it roared "HELLO.." but
before the name was finished the might
beast was bleeding everywhere and
soon
enough it vanished without a trace... our hero grabbed the small stone
obviously matching the "G stone" it
had a Z on it he put it with the ocarina
and headed for the Triforce piece he had the TRIFORCE OF WISDOM!! in a
instant he was at the bottom and was now
on his way back to...
Koki...His voice was suddenly cut short by a huge howling
call looking up at the
mountain he
saw Ganon2!! His Archnemisis!!! He drew his sword and started to
climb the mountain but was blown down by a huge bolder
thrown by the wolf-pig
type creature.
I'll get you someday Ganon2 our
hero yelled.
The Wolf-Pig was
shivering with fake fear! "ooh I'm so scared...your pitiful."
Just as he looked down Ganon2 saw no-one there
but a little dust an of our hero
just
then he turned around and was face to face with a gleaming sword
point..."gulp"
Ganon2 exclaimed..."HAHAHA" and with that Ganon2
was gone. Our hero
JUMPED down from
the mountain living another day then he was off to Kokiri
Forest. Upon arrival sometime in the range of 3 days later
he was trying to figure
out a strange
lock to a huge cave. The lock had a strange twisted seal on it but
almost had places for two small triangular prisms.
Suddenly our Hero had
it....THE TRIFORCES!!!
at once he stuck the 2 prisms in and the door slowly
moved open...inside was a huge platform and on it was...
Zelda: The dark creature - part 1
Young Link wakes up on a beautiful morning in the summer and walks
outside. He strolls around his yard and starts
to exercise, to wake himself
up. He
casually walks back into his house and cooks some breakfast. He
slowly feeds his face with eggs and bacon when he hears
a rapping at the
door.
He rushes up and says "Who could that
be?". He slowly opens the
door.
"Link, Link come quick"
says a young girl.
"What
is it?" Link says with enthusiasm.
"No time to talk, come quick" The girl runs off and Link follows
quickly.
They run through the town
and into the woods.
The girl
suddenly stops at a large rock and screams "LOOK!"
Link jets to the rock and yells "Where is it?".
The girl runs off and laughs.
"Why you little" Link yells with anger. "How
could I fall for something that stupid" Link says feeling
stupid. Link starts
the long walk back
home.
"BOOM." "What
is that" Link runs over to a cave. "BOOM" "BOOM"
"Ahhhhhhhhhh" a woman screams
from the inside of the cave. Link
pulls
out his sword and runs in.
Final Fantasy vs Legend of Zelda
Final Fantasy Vs. Legend Of Zelda
In somewhat recent arguments
some say
the Final Fantasy series kicks the Zelda series butt. Of coarse
most of us here KNOW that's not true, Final Fantasy
sure has huge areas
to fight but it
doesn't involve 20 min. of walking on foot to get from one side
of the land to another once you do something its over
you never need to go
back there again.
The Zelda has you explore and
cross a VERY large land of Hyrule
where
if you miss something you could most likely go back and still get it.
The Zelda series doesn't follow the RPG fighting
style but it dose make the
fighting
more real by the way they do it (I mean come on can anyone
honestly say they have been in a fight where you stand 50
ft. away from a
person, do some attack,
then wait for them to do an attack) in Zelda you
fight an enemy the way you WOULD fight an enemy.
Another thing is, in Zelda you only control one
person, Link,
(sometimes someone will
follow you but that's is a bit different they cant do
anything to help increasing the challenge of the game) some people
may
look at this as bad but it really
is alot better.
Most of the stuff
I have said leads up to one major thing even though all
the weird creatures the play of all Zelda games (and gameplay)
have been
more realistic than Final
Fantasy. Even though Final Fantasy has good
story lines Zelda usually surpasses them in imagination and the skill
needed to beat a Zelda game is much harder
to have then in a game where
a guy
can hold a sword 5 times bigger than his body and swing it like a
feather and still be able to block attacks.
Zelda: The Triforce Pyramid - part 1
In the land of Hyrule everyone lived peacefully and happily together. It
was a great land thought to be the promise
land. Suddenly a great force
known
as Gannon appeared. He ruined this great land and sent monsters
to destroy it. Then Gannon found out that Hyrule just
might be the place of
the Great Triforce
Pyramid. The very essence of life flowed though this
great pyramid. Gannon would go to any length to rule it for if
he did he
would rule life it self,
being able to kill anyone he pleased with a thought.
Gannon knew that the Triforce Pyramid was buried deep within the
earth.
The only way to raise it was
with the Staff of Life. Gannon had obtained that
staff a long time ago. But only a pure hearted man could awake the
Pyramid from it's slumber.
Gannon promised a man with a heart pure as
gold that if he made the
Pyramid rise
he could have any one wish. This man was Tek a mighty
battle mage much as Gannon himself. Tek rose the Pyramid, but
Gannon
was not true to his word. Tek
full of anger drew his sword and fought
Gannon. Gannon was much stronger then Tek and slashed at Tek with his
mighty sword. Tek was killed almost instantly.
Gannon climbed the
Pyramid to the very
top where a whole opened and Gannon went in.
The world grew very dark and time stood still. Then clouds covered
the
Pyramid as Gannon took his placed
as ruler of life. People all over the
world started dyeing and monsters started appearing in packs of hundreds.
Then a tiny ray of light shined on this
dark world. The ray was a newborn
child,
this child was known as Link. Link grew up in this dark world giving
hope to everyone he met. Gannon grew angry and
summoned to destroy
Link. His powers
were useless, for this child was the only hope and not
even god himself would let this child die. As Link grew from
a child to a
man, seeing death around
him, his friends, his family, and even his mother
he was not pleased with Gannon's doing. Link sworn to defeat Gannon
and
destroy this evil power.
And
so our story begins...
Zelda: The Fall of Ganon - part
1
One day, as Link of the
Kokiri, awoke to a single ray of sunlight shining
through his slightly parted curtains, Link felt a great evil building
its force
up, a force that would surpass
everything know to the land of Hyrule. He
decided that he, the chosen warrior, must seek out this evil and destroy it,
once and for all.
He knew he had to check with the princess of Hyrule
to make sure this
wasn't an interpretation.
Once he arrived at the castle, the guards wouldn't
let him pass, saying the king was not to be disturbed-BY ANYONE-but,
as
link was craftier than any of the
guards in Hyrule he snuck into the castle
and found the king in his audience chamber, quite melancholy. The king
told him of how an evil so malevolent had
swept into the castle and taken
Zelda.
He didn't know what it was, he said it was invisible.
Link was joined outside the castle by Impa, who had some
more helpful
information about the
kidnapping of Zelda. She said that he must go to the
temple of Mystiscim, which was a closely guarded secret of the
Sheiks,
and begin his quest.
When he got to the temple, however,
he found it to be overrun by
Ganon's
evil minions. He was just approaching the temple when a
Gohma, which was hidden in a bush, struck. It dealt Link a blow
to the arm
so Link quickly repelled
its next blow and dug his sword deep into its eye,
the only place where it wasn't protected by armor. Then he began
he
ascent down the stairs of the temple,to
unravel the evil behind Zelda's
kidnapping.
