The Desert Tribe
The deserts consists of several faction, all making up a tribe. The factions each are family groups. These family groups generally have taken up a section of the desert as their own territory. Usually nearby an Oasis, never directly upon it for that would waste the rescource.
Travel:
The tribes travel by means of beasts called, Cramphants. These are large quadrapeds (they walk on 4 legs). They resemble horses except that they are covered completely by hair that is usually about 3 inches long and thick all over their body. They have the tail of a lion and the head of a Tapir, along with the short stubby legs of a donkey.
These Cramphants pull large wagons in which reside all the things of one individual or one immediate family. (Husband, Wife and Children)
Homes:
Inside of their wagons the desert cats carry large tarps. These large clothes hook one side to the side of the wagon and then stretch out until they are pinned to the ground about 10 feet away. Flaps are then added on the front and back. The door always facing east where the sun rises.
Allies/Enemies:
The Desert people neither have Allies nor Foes. They are a peaceful people, their only scource of trouble are the monsters that roam about the desert. Namely Wyverns.
Defense:
The Desert people are simple people, all they have for weapons are bows and arrows, they are known to be remarkable craftsmen of these and people come great distances to buy them.
Income:
Most tribes are self sufficient, their only scource of money is usually when they sell bows or wool.
Livestock:
They raise sheeplike creatures in small amounts on the oasis, but usually they stick to Dapplas. A mixture between a cow and camel.
