Nazca
Kyoji
I don't really have much to say about the main character of Nazca (no, the main character really wasnt Tate). One of the problems with this series was the lack of character development and the prolifereation of spandex. I should be cheering when tight clothes on bishonen appear. I wasnt these days though. Thats ok. I did like Kyoji and would like to see how he turned out in a few years. The seiyuu is Suzumura Kenichi, who plays Kamui in the X TV series. Seki Tomozaku's shoes (X/1999) are tough to fill, but I think he did a fine job.
Tate
This is where anime and RL start mixing in a horrible nightmarish way. Have an ex with this name,although with a different pronounciation, so its still a surprise everytime I see this written. Anime usually has names I would never generally see around. Nazca would have been a better series I think if they had shown Tate go crazy rather than have him be crazy the whole series. It should be an easy thing to make me care about the crazy, slightly evil, long-haired seme voiced by Koyasu-san. And I do care, but a little more time with him normal would have helped enormously.
Shiogami
Shiogami is the Farfarello of Nazca. He is more than slightly mad, and usually never ever looks this good. Honestly, this may be one of the best looking cels of him out there. This and the above Tate cel are again, the closed-eyes but introspective looking expressions that I seem to collect a lot of. Perhaps because they are cheaper?
