Ok, I -think- this is Tamahome. Obviously, this is at a bad angle to tell. Isn't it a cute little cel though? No one wants to hear my 10 minute speech on the merits and problems of Fushigi Yugi. It was my first actual shojo series and the first time I realized that in anime, they will kill people. I think that did a lot to make me realize I just might like this brand of storytelling. I recently saw the last OAV. I didn't think they could come up with a worse plot than the actual series (I remember the katakana for shi by a crazy picturegram of a clam "This is my clam. His name is SHIn"). But seems they could. But, we -do- see Hotohori's long lost brother. And honestly, Miaka and Yue, who I have always loved, get nothing but better as the series portrays them older.

Tenchi Muyo-Hotsuma

I live in the middle of the deep, deep South so when you run across another cel collector that isnt in your immediate anime-watching collective you get excited. I bought my Kizuna cels from a fairly well-known name in the cel world here in the US who happens to live in the same city. She once held a good sized portion of the Hotsuma cels around. And she gave me one because she is such a wonderful person! So, no. I havent actually -seen- Tenchi. But I can ogle cant I? Again, this is a cel with the character's eyes closed that I think actually improves the sense of expression.

Basara-Agahad

Basara was not the most beautiful animation ever. But it is classic shojo in every sense of the term. And it had Agahad. Dancing sometimes, but we forgive him his sins.

Through a tiny little Paypal mixup a dealer gave me this cel with another purchase. No idea who she is but it came with an impressive set of sketches, more than Ive ever seen for one cel.
