Jefferson Parish is the home of JEDCO - the Jefferson Economic Development  Commission. JEDCO is a model economic development agency with a trained staff eager to offer the myriad of JEDCO services to local and relocating businessess.

Born amidst the oil bust of the 1980's. JEDCO is funded by government and run by business leaders. JEDCO seeks to create a pro business environment that will attract businesses to Jefferson Parish and works hard to assure existing businesses are happy in the parish.
