Wasi': Wide
Rabb: Lord
Khalifat: Caliph
NaDij: Ripe
Hakeemun: A wise man
Karim: Kind man
Saadiqun: A True man
Deen: Religion
Ladhidh: Delicious
Sha'ir: poet
Kitaab: book
Mu'min: believer (male) Mu'minoon: believers (male)
Mu'minah: believer (female) OR Mu'minatun: believer [female[
Mu'minaaat: believers (female)
[when you pronounce the vowel mark on the ta in a singular female noun..you pronounce the 'ta', if you don't pronounce the vowel mark you don't pronounce the ta]
Examples:
Khalid Hakeem [Khalidun Hakeemun]: Khalid is a wise man
Howa Sha'ir [Howa Sha'irun]: He is a poet
Howa Alimun: He is a learned man
Howa Kareemun: He is a kind man
Muhammad Rasool [Muhammadun Rasoolun]: Muhammad is a messenger
Rule:
When the first word is not a proper noun, you add Al to the beginning of the word instead of adding an un at the end [un is the two 'dammas [vowel marks] at the end of the word]
Ex: Al-Qur'anu Kitabun: [the] Qur'an is a book
Al-Islamu Deenun: Islam is a religion
Al-Rasulu Sadiqun: The Messenger is a true man
