The Expediter, The Promoter, The One who puts things in their right places. He makes ahead what He wills and delays what He wills. Muslim scholars has explained this name to mean that Allah, exalted be He, has promoted human existence on other existences (such as this of animals), He has promoted Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam, on the rest of the prophets, He has promoted the knowledgable and wise people on the normal people, and Allah, The Promoter, promotes whomever He wishes whenever He wishes. This beautiful name reflects the love of Allah who promotes those whom He loves, may He make us among them. This name also means that Allah makes events happen at the time that He wants, and no one can change the date if it comes. Do good deeds and love your parents, neighbours, and elderly people and treat them well and generously, and ask Allah to promote you in this life and in the hereafter.
