The Powerful, The Dominant, The Creator of All Power, The One with the perfect Power that nothing is withheld from Him. This beautiful name of Allah stresses the meaning of the previous beautiful name, The Able, The Capabale, and both indicate the ultimate power of Allah. With His ultimate power, Allah controls the whole creation that belongs to Him, exalted be He. The night, the day, the planets, human existence, our digestive system, our nervous system, our sight, the oceans, gravity, etc. etc. are all signs to Allah's power and dominance. Exalted be He. We ought to work for our afterlife and not forget that that day will come, when we will be judged according to what we have done during this life.
