The Eternal, The Independent, The Master who is relied upon in matters and reverted to in one's needs. Allah, The Master, is maintaining the universe and only He responds to the needs of the existence He has created. This beautiful name of Allah reflects the attribute of Allah, The Master, who takes care of every single creature and knows everything about all. Everything and everybody relies on Him, The Independant, and He relies on no one. Some muslim scholars added that this name indicates the eternal attribute of Allah, whose generosity covers the whole creation.
