The Counter, The Reckoner, The One who the count of things are known to him. This beautiful name reflects the ultimate knowledge of Allah who knows everything about you and your surrounding. It continues the meaning of Allah's beautiful name, The Watcher (Ar-Raqeeb). Every single step you take is counted, every single deed you do is counted, every word you say is counted, and each and every secret you have is known to Allah. Exalted be He, who knows what we are thinking even if we do not speak it out, and who knows what we are hiding even if we don't show it. In the day of judgement, you will be reminded you have done this and that and you cannot deny. In that day, Allah, The Merciful, will forgive the believers their bad deeds, for He is The Most-Forgiving, The Most-Gracious. May He make us among those whom He forgives.
