The Nature of Allah S.W.T.
By:
Naufal Alkaff
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahiim.
"I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His messenger"
The Quran says:
Say (O
Muhammad): "He is Allah, (the) One. [112:1]
Surely Allah alone is the creator of all things and he is the One, the Most Supreme. [13:17]
Indeed My Verses used to be recitedto you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and refusing woth hatred to listen to them). [23:66]
He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving. [39:5]
He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned. [21:23]
Have you not seen those (Jews and Christians) who claim sanctity for themselves. Nay, but Allah sanctifies whom He wills, and they will not be dealt with injustice even equal to the extent of a scalishthread in the long slit of a date-stone. [4:49]
And many a Prophet (many from amongst the Prophets) fought (in Allah Cause) and along withm him (fought) large bands of religious learned men. But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allah's Way, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allah loves As-Sabirun (the patient). [3:146]
Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts met (the battle of Uhud), it was Shaitan (Satan) who caused them to backslide (run away from the battlefield) bacause of some (sins) the had earned. But Allah, indeed, has forgiven them. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing. [3:155]
I seek not any provision from them (provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (feed themselves or My creatures). [51:57]
"Come back to your Lord well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)! "Enter you then among My (honoured) slaves, "And enter you My Paradise!" [89:28-30]
"Fear Allah as if you can see Him, if you cannot imagine seeing Him, know that He sees you."
Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayat (proofs, evidences, signs, etc) for people of understanding. [2:164]
Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then, He rose above (Istawa) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round), each running (its course) for a term appointed. He manages and regulates all affairs; He explains the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelation, etc.) in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord. [13:2]
And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers and of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnain (two in pairs-may mean two kinds or it may mean: of two varieties, e.g. black and white, sweet and sour, small and big). He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat for people who reflect. [13:3]
