Stew Chicken with Onions

Ingredients

1 chicken cut up 
6 tablespoons soy sauce 
1 teaspoon ginger powder 
3 large onions, sliced 
1 cup water

Directions
Clean the chicken with cold water, and put the chicken into a large pot. Add 6 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon ginger powder and 1 cup of water, cover with lid and turn on low flame and cook for 30 minutes. Turn over the chicken in the pot so that all sides are brown and cooked. Add sliced onions, and cook for 10 or more minutes. Serve hot.
