Salmon... It's All in the Presentation!

Ingredients & Directions

First, cook the salmon by either baking or steaming. Then, remove the meat from the bone and throw the skin away, too. This done, portion out the meat into freezable containers or wrap, whichever you have.

With this meat you can:

  1. Make salmon loaf or patties. Be sure to add plenty of dry bread crumbs or croutons and eggs. Also, add some strong spices like
pepper, coriander, cloves and cumin is always good with fish. You can garnish the loaf or patties with sautéed onions or other savory fried vegetables

  2. Make a stew or soup. Be sure that the salmon is finely flaked for this and also be sure that there is lots of vegetables or other
ingredients so that the fish is not so noticeable.

  3. Add salmon flakes to the top of an elaborate salad that has lots of ingredients.

  4. Mix salmon with rice and shredded carrots or cabbage to make small crepe rolls or Chinese style spring rolls

  5. Add it to a potato or macaroni casserole. Again, make sure the salmon is finely flaked so it is not so noticeable.

  6. I love to make salmon salad (just like tuna salad) for sandwiches. Add some finely chopped onions, some relish, or other typical salad sandwich ingredients.
