Thank Allah for the Month of Zil-Hijjah
Respect the first ten days of this month, during these ten days if someone makes a charitable donation to a needy person, it will be as if he had presented a charitable donation to all of His Prophets (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them.)
If someone visits a sick person, it will be as if he had visited all the saints/awliyah of Allah.
If someone attends a funeral, it will be as if he had attended the funeral service of all martyrs.
If someone clothes a true beliver [mumin], Allah will clothe him from His store of fine garments.
If someone treats an orphan kindly on the day of Allah Tallah will treat him kindly on the day of Resurection, beneath the shadow of His Heavenly Throne [Arsh].
If someone attends one of the sessions of religious learning, it will be as if he had attended the Sessions held by all of Allah's Prophet (peacebe upon him.)
Fasting the month of Zil Hijja and on the day of Arafa:
Prophet Syyedduna Muhammad(peace be upon him) said:
" Fasting on the day of Arafa counts as the atonement [ kaffara] of two years: the year that has passed, and the year that lies ahead."
Explanation:
If someone fasts on the day of Arafa (the 9th day of Zil-hijjah), Allah will forgive his previous sins, as well as any that come latter, for one whole year. Happy fasting INSHALLAH :)
