Allah Ta'ala states in Holy Quran:
'And Haj to the House of Holy Kaba is a duty that
mankind owes to Allah for those who can afford
the expenses.'
[Al Imraan:97]
Ali (Radiallahu Anhu) reports that RasulAllah (s.a.w) said,
'Whosoever possesses the means to reach the ka'abah
(perform haj) and does not perfrom hajj, it will not matter if
he dies as a christian, or a jew,
for verily Allah Ta'ala says, ' It is necessary for you to
perform Hajj if you posses the means thereof." (Tirmidhi)
Hence once upon whom Hajj is Fard, should hasten to fulfill
this command of Allah.
