Are you a Muslim? So what have you done for Islam lately? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The call to Allah and the enjoining of good and the forbidding of evil is an obligatory duty on every Muslim, according to his/her knowledge, ability and capacity. " It is in truth a Reminder for you and for your people and you will be questioned. AlQuran [43:44] Meaning: This Quran,...this religion is a glory and an honor for you, a reason for happiness in this world and Hereafter. You will be asked about following it and CONVEYING it to others.
***It is a great loss for a Muslim to live in foreign lands for an extended period of time and then return home without converting a single person from those people who are eager to learn about Islam. I ask Allah to bless us wherever we are and to correct us and be correctors, to let us guide and be guided, to invite to the good and do good. Ameen. Allah knows Best
/\/\/\/\/\/\Pyramid System of Rewards in Islam/\/\/\/\/\/\ Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w) said: " Whoever invites to the guideness of Allah, recieves the same rewards those who follow him, with out decreasing anything from their the reward." (Muslim) Meaning: Realize the greatness of reward for those who invite to the Way of Allah. They will receive the same reward of any good done by those who recieved guidance from them. The person who is guiding others will receive he reward for all the prayers, fasting, and offerings made by the person he guided to Islam. If a 3rd person is guided by the 2nd, 1st person still recieves an equal reward. Therefore the first guiding person keeps receiving theses rewards in this life and after his death. Even small deeds and advises to others can help you get a huge pyramid of rewards. Lets say 'You' taught a Muslim that he should Never forget to say : " INSHALLAH " when he is planning to do something and " MASHALLAH " when he admires something and " ALHAMDOLILLAH " upon sneezing. " SUBHANALLAH " when admiring nature. Now every time that person sneezes and say " ALHAMDOLILLAH " , he gets rewarded but,.................... Guess who else gets rewarded as well?????????? Yes the correct answer is: YOU. And lets say that Muslim has 3 kids,.....and now he teaches them the same thing, he learnt from you,.............. And every time those 3 kids sneeze and say " ALHAMDOLILLAH ",........ who gets rewarded now? Yes,.......those 3 kids,......their father,..........and YOU. Do you see how you can make a huge difference by doing little things for Islam and get rewards in huge amounts? Similarly if you misguide a person or a child knowingly and intentionally,..... and let's say he gets hooked on it,.........every time that person commits thats sin,.......you also get a part of that sin. Every single time. Even though you are not the one commiting those sins, but you are the one who got them started the first time. Pyramids of rewards and sins: We all learn to do good deeds and bad deeds from each other and one thoughtless act of one person can affect 1000s of people, so be careful about your actions and make sure all your deeds are good and not bad, beause they can multiply fast!
Did you know Dawa/spreading the Word of Allah is a sacrifice???????????? In addition to sacrificing oneself or ones wealth, it also includes sacrificing ones time, rest, and sleep to work for Dawah; * spending ones Knowledge to teach others, the Deen/religion Islam, * using one's high position to benefit others, * showing patience and forbearance to suppress anger, * and to forgive those who wronged you, * being cheerful and of good character to others * and even wielding the efforts to abstain from hurting others.
~~~~~~The only triumph for EVIL is for Good Men to do nothing.~~~~~~~ So don't let evil win and don't wait and watch in silence, get active, do your part of Dawah (tabligh/preaching) and spread the turth about Islam. Did you know : Zakah is not only due on wealth, Zakah is also due on every bounty bestowed on the Muslims. Free time, high position, a strong body, and a sharp mind all are bounties bestowed by Allah. Give from all of that according to your capacity, and may Allah accept from you all.
And do you also know that : Calling people to Allah is one of the noblest acts and one that results in great rewards: Allah says in Quran: " Who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah, does Righteous-deeds and says: I am one of the Muslims " [41:33] Those who perform Dawa are the followers of the Messengers and their heirs in carrying on the religion and conveying it to others. They are the best spoken people and the highest in ranking. They are the best rewarded, the happiest and the most at peace.
DAWAH-SHARING INFO ABOUT ISLAM WITH NON MUSLIMS: Dawah means to invite people to worship Allah alone, follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w) and keep away from all sort of disbelief and evils. Dawah is an Obligation for every Muslim according to his/her ability, knowledge and capacity. No Prophets will be sent for dawah after Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and Allah has entrusted the Musims with the heavy responsibility of calling mankind to Allah's Last Message. CONDUCTING DAWA IS ALSO ESSENTIAL FOR YOU TO MAINTAIN YOUR OWN FAITH AND KEEPING YOU AWAY FROM DISBELIEF.
How to give Dawah: In order to make dawah easy for people to accept, the caller should introduce Islam gradually in a way that matches their ability and person's response or reactions, and according to the level of their understanding. When giving dawah, our main concern should be that Alah's message reaches people in a clear, proper and convincing way. Our sincere aim and focus should be to deliver dawah with wisdom and good manners. And we should not be concerned with the results of our efforts, for that is in Allah's Hands. First: * First focus on Shahada----- * Biography of Prophet (s.a.w) and that he was uneducated and how Angel Jibrael taught him. * The miraculous nature of Quran and its agreement with scientific facts and hows its still in its original form and unaltered. * Concentrate on teaching the basics and avoid details and differences of opinions. Make sure to clear: * That Islam is not a new religion; it was preached by all Prophets of Allah. * That Islam is not a religion of Arabs or Middle East, rather it is a universal religion. Arabs are actually a miniority group of Muslims. Muslims come from different races and ethenic backgrounds. * Allah is not the God of Muslims. The word "Allah" in Arabic means "The one true God;" it is a word used by Arabs, Muslims and non-Muslims. * Islam means: "Total willing submission to Allah." * Islam is the religion of ease and tolerance ; no soul is charged with more than it can bear. * All people are equal in Islam. * Quran is the unaltered Word of Allah. * Women are elevated in Islam and their rights are protected. Mention many women from the West have accepted Islam and are pleased with it as the way of life. Avoid: * Avoid talking about punishment in the grave, Day of Judgement, delay them for later, since they wont understand it at this point. * Avoid discussions of no interests to non-Muslims such as issues about Fiqh or Pollotics. They can distract one's attention and focus. * Avoid using names and terms unfamiliar to non Muslims, for they create confusion. Try to: * Understand the background and culture of those you deal with. * Address people according to their level of understanding. * Praise their good qualities and the good things in their way of life. * Tolerate people, their faults and short comings. Every one of us has imperfections. * Exchange visits and gifts. * Give information in a simple convincing manner. * Face problems with more endurance. * Be simple, informal and listen carefully. * Be sincere in your intentions. Dont: * Do not break promises. * Be careful not to contradict yourself * Avoid giving Dawah while you are sick or under stress. * Avoid wasting time in useless arguements. * Do not get discouraged if you dont get any results. People take time to respond. And remember: "You can not guide whom you like but Allah guides whom He wishes." [28:56] So do your job and hope for the best. Whether you are able to help some one get guidance or not you will definitely reap the fruits of your hard work and your good intentions.
