\Title/
Fallen Angel, Chapter 4: The Hunt
Phantasm...
Is it a nightmare? Is it an illusion? Is it an evil? Is it a fantasy? Is it alive?
Whatever it is, if this one doesn't scare you...you're already dead.

\The scene opens at an airport. Rodney and Phantasm are already off of their plane and have their luggage and while Rodney is preparing to get a rental car he stops and looks at Phantasm. Phantasm stares back. /

Rodney: So, you ready for your match against Hunter and 8-Ball?

\Phantasm nods. Hunter is the International Champion. The title isn't on the line but the prestiege of beating yet another champion was too much to ignore. Phantasm could not deny he had grown more confident in himself and his own abilities. Especially after what happened at the last TNT./

Rodney: Good thing this is non-title, although with your record I don't think you need to worry.

\Phantasm jerks his head towards the counter as the clerk is trying to give Rodney a key to his rent-a-car. Rodney looks up and takes the key. He laughs to himself and they walk to the parking lot. The selected car is even more spacious than the last time. It's a truck with a huge cab to fit Phantasm's massive size. He nods in approval as he throws the luggage in the back and climbs inside./

Rodney: And 8-Ball. Well you haven't fought him before but I heard he wasn't that confident in his abilities against you. He is a lot smaller than you are. So was Chris Gage.

\Phantasm nods again. Maybe it was Gage's size or his underhanded tactics to win by forfiet, but Phantasm practically annhilated him. Most thought he was a monster after the match with Achilles, when he broke a steel chair over his head. But defeating Gage in less than a minute gave more evidence. Phantasm knew 8-Ball was about the same size, so he had a feeling his biggest challenge was Hunter./

Rodney: Hunter seems ready to advance, although he hasn't been seen. Maybe he's preparing. He did seem impressed with your quick victory at least.

\Phantasm hadn't got that impression. He pictured Hunter as everyone else. And everyone else he has fought was either scared to death or so over-confident they thought they could beat HWA's undefeated monster with ease. The frightened were beaten and the arrogant were decimated. Phantasm thinks back in his life. He always had a problem with arrogance. Maybe one of the reason's he didn't like C4, other than what C4 did to Angel./

Rodney: What are you thinking about anyway? You always seem lost in thought.

\Phantasm looks at Rodney and then looks away. He says nothing, as he always does./

Rodney: I can't always be here to keep you in check, you know. I don't control you. If you wanted to search for Angel and C4 again feel free, but Angel doesn't want to be found. But, I could help you find C4. I'm sure he's accepting bookings somewhere. I could track him down.

\This was news to Phantasm's ears. If Rodney could find C4, then Phantasm could do what he's always wanted to do. Destroy him. He nodded with more excitement than he's ever shown. Rodney can't help but laugh./

Rodney: You concentrate on your matchup tonight and I'll make some calls. If he's at an event it won't be hard to determine which one.

\Phantasm had more respect for Rodney right now than ever. Rodney knew what he wanted, and at great risk to his career was going to direct Phantasm straight in C4's direction. He knew Rodney could get in trouble for using his connections like this. He wasn't sure how but he figured he could. Phantasm clears his mind and steps out of the truck. He casts his gaze towards the arena. First he would take out Hunter and 8-Ball, like he planned to do. Then, with Rodney's help...he would finally get his hands around the scrawny neck of C4./
