Phantasm...
Is it a nightmare? Is it an illusion? Is it an evil? Is it a fantasy? Is it alive?
Whatever it is, if this one doesn't scare you...you're already dead.

\The scene opens in the brand new, bigger and better HWA headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. Phantasm is walking down the long hallway to 009's office. His manager, Rodney, seems more worried than usual. Phantasm keeps walking, not caring either way. He seems to be calm today./

Rodney: I knew it. I knew this would happen. They're going to fire you Phantasm. Then not only will you not get your title shot but we'll have to search for a new place for you. And trust me after this incident no one is going to want you.

\Phantasm stares at him briefly then continues./

Rodney: Don't you care?

\Phantasm ignores the question as though the answer should be obvious to Rodney. They finally make their way to the door and Phantasm just stops in front of it. Rodney sneaks up and knocks on the door./

009: Come in.

\Phantasm continues to stare straight ahead as Rodney opens the door. Rodney goes in first and sits down. Phantasm walks in and comes to a stop as soon as he clears the door. 009 looks at him as if expecting something./

009: 009 knows you weren't raised in a barn, close the door.

\Phantasm glares at him and refuses to move. Rodney waits a bit, then agitated, gets up and closes the door. As he walks back to where he was he says something to Phantasm./

Rodney: You are already in trouble Phantasm don't make it worse.

009: He's right. 009 already has had to fire lots of people and for this incident don't give him cause to fire you too. Do you have any idea how much this is going to cost HWA?

\Phantasm stares at him, the mask covering any emotions he may be showing, but it's unlikely he would be showing any at all./

009: 009 knows you're not going to sit there and ignore him all day. This is serious.

Rodney: Phantasm doesn't talk at all. It's not just character or anything. He hasn't said a word since I've met him.

009: You're kidding 009, right? This guy is about to lose his job and he can't say one word in his defense?

Rodney: Well I don't know if he can talk or not but he hasn't said a single word.

009: Well Phantasm you'll be happy...

\009 stops himself when he sees that Phantasm is starting to clench his fists in anger. It doesn't seem like Phantasm wants to be there for something he doesn't care either way about./

009: That is, if you were ever happy...did your mother hug you when you were a kid? Anyway. 009 cleared up the matter and you only will be fined for what you did. You were provoked. But since 009 just spent a hell of a lot of money and you need to be punished, he's taking it out of your pay.

Rodney: That's generous of you.

009: To be honest, when 009 heard about what happened to that C4 ringrat he couldn't help but burst out laughing.

\Phantasm gets up and starts to leave when he is stoppeed by Nine calling his name. He turns his head back slowly./

009: Phantasm, good luck on your match. And don't forget to shut the door on your way out.

\Rodney leaves first and motions for Phantasm to follow. Phantasm, either angry or annoyed with 009's request does shut the door. Very hard, he slams the door shut and inside we see the door crack and splinter down the middle from the force and a picture of 009 fall off of his office wall./

009: Goddamnit.

\Phantasm continues walking and Rodney is right next to him saying something about how Nine always refers to himself in third person. We hear a voice from down the hall./

009: THAT'S COMING OUT OF YOUR PAY TOO, ASSHOLE!

\Phantasm stops for a moment, then continues walking as the scene fades out./
