The little yellow parakeet happily perched on the deers head is 'Lutie'
He was with me for almost 5 years & was quite a cute & VERY busy little character! Lutie died December 23, 2006... he'd had a cold for a while *sighs* He's very missed but I'm sure is having a great time in animal heaven.
I often spend time on the computer & Luties favorite spot was on the keyboard right in from of me.
While there, we had long conversations about whatever was on his mind... don't ask me what that might have been, I didn't understand his language! But he did pick up mine!
Lutie could wolf-whistle & say 'pretty Lutie' & 'Oh you dirty bird' & sang 'pop goes the weasle'.
Of course all that talking & conversation makes a a little bird mighty thristy! Only problem is... that straw is a real stinker & keeps trying to escape! Lutie had major wrestling matches with it regularly...

Totally wet Lutie... oh so refreshing on those hot summer days!
Another pawn bites the dust to the mighty Grand Master Lutie!
Now it's time to get rid that pesky Rook once & for all!
The Rook is conquered.. after this Lutie threw it off the table entirely & watched it fall to the floor.
And now Lutie goes for that arrogant King... who ended up off the table & falling to the floor also.
Lutie takes on the Queen... after this the game was pretty much over for the mighty chess champ!!!
Lutie discovered a new buddy in the house!!!
Sharing food is always fun!!!
