This story takes place about seventeen years after the series' end. Section One was destroyed years ago, only to be resurrected by computer programs of Operations and Madeline. So, Section One is alive again, barely, and without Nikita's knowledge. Section's last hope for long-term survival are the children Section One created from former operatives' genetic material, but someone has been assassinating the children and the survivors have to stop the assassins before Section is destroyed completely, forever.
