There were some categories in which the winner was obvious from the get-go where a single story won over 50% of the vote. Then, there were categories where the winner was determined by a single vote. In fact, up until the very last minute, there were two categories with a three-way tie. And, in the end, there were a few stories that I was utterly amazed didn't win anything (particularly Leda's phenomenal Seven, Like Dante's and Ysrith's stunning angst-fest Death Surveys Her Domain). Due to suggestions, we've added in the runners up in each category to share the top three with you.Thank you for nominating and voting. I hope you all participate again next time around. This category was added after much consideration by both of us. We felt that our own choices as to what categories would be involved in the awards left some very high quality fan fictions without a likely category for them to compete in. We debated for some time which story we both felt was our favorite out there that didn't make it to the ballot and eventually agreed upon Waldo's hysterical Drunk and Disorderly.
