Dear old Mom & Dad... just can't forget them on any list of people I intend to thank.
-ducks covering her head from all those people trying to kill her for liking her parents- I have some pretty cool parents in my opinion. They don't beat me, they don't yell at me when I don't deserve it, and our family almost runs like a democracy... almost... they do step in where required. I'm very happy with how they raised me and I think they are pretty happy with how I've turned out so far though I know they want my grades up.
I take after my mother in temperment though her patience level is much higher than mine. We also are the picker ones in the family in many things; we like a lot of the same things in art, movies, and books; and we both like to talk a lot to say the least.
My father and I really don't have a lot in common we both like to cook, we both like to read and we both read fast... and thats about it. The thing I like most about my dad is he worries about me. "God's punishment on father's for being men is little girls." On of my favorite qoutes, my mother said it to me once and I didn't really understand but as I've gotten older I've realized this is a very true statement. My father has spent the past few years worrying about me not that I really do lots of things to cause worry. Though it was hilarious when I picked out this mini skirt and backless-sleevless shirt. He just about died, it was very amusing to say the least. |
