The Story Continues...

She finished the litany and looked down on us all, placed her hands on the hide-bound book, covered in scratches, and opened it at the place held by the dark, furred tail. She stroked it gently, then, speaking softly, said," This is a Galliard's Tail. It marks the tale of a Ragabash - the tale of a Moon Dancer. I am soon to become Theurge of the Stargazers, but I will first tell you the story of this Caern..."

The roof of the gathering place opened to reveal a brilliant Galliard moon and my heart swelled within me. All the candles blew out and only Luna's light filled shone upon us. An 11 or 12 year old boy walked to the front and shifted to Crinos. His calming howl floated softly over the room, relaxing us and I could feel the Gauntlet weaken. The Rite of Caern Opening had begun.

Suddenly,there was an electronic beeping noise, and a strange smell wafted near me. The Gauntlet tightened and the howl, "Attack Moonbridge!" shivered in the air as the room filled with swirling light and the Bridge opened directly over us!
