We wandered for an indeterminate time in the bowels of the city..... searching for someone who could help to guide us in the right direction. Our guide turned out to be a grizzled old Bone Gnawer who laughingly took pity on his country cousins and helped us find a place to spend the night.
We were awakened in the early morning hours by a horrible cacophony of sounds..... clanking sounds, growls and snarls, and the shreik of metal against metal. Our companion, Friend, had every hair standing straight up on her body as she looked, wide eyed, out a window at a huge machine. She turned to us in terror and called out in Wolf Speach, "It eats..... It will eat us, as well!!" She, then made the call to battle. We were up in a flash, and it took everything I had to prevent her from crashing through the window and attacking the garbage truck outside.
Several minutes and much hurried explaination later, she was calmed down enough to begin to understand that what she was seeing wasn't what she thought, and, though it did, indeed, look like Wyrm, it really was doing good.
