1
There is no such being as a personal God
There is such a being as personal God.
2
Man is the product of evolution. He is an animal.
God created man in His own image
3
The world is the product of evolutionary forces. It is self-existing. It was not created.
The world was created by God and is sustained by His providence.
4
The on-going movement of evolution means that man, who is good by nature, is bound to improve.
Man is not good by nature and will quickly degenerate if he is not controlled by self discipline and social restraints.
5
Man is free to achieve his own goals, but the state has a vital part to play in controlling and shaping these goals.
Man is free to achieve his own goals, but in seeking these goals, both men and the state should obey God's laws as stated in the Bible.
6
Man will achieve his goals by the use of his own reason as this is informed by state education based on modern scientific knowledge.
Man will achieve good goals only if his will is submitted to the will of God and his goals are for the glory of God.
7
Ethics depend on the situation involved.
God has established absolute standards of truth and morality. These are revealed in the Ten Commandments as elaborated in the New Testament.
8
With regard to abortion, the unborn child is not truly human. The woman concerned must have the freedom to decide the fate of her baby and the state must ensure that freedom.
With regard to abortion, human life begins at conception. The state, except in exceptional circumstances, should not permit abortion.
9
Homosexuality and similar sexual preferences are acceptable alternatives lifestyles and the state must protect that lifestyles.
With regard of homosexuality, sexual preferences outside heterosexuality are unnatural and abhorrent and should not be legalized.
10
With regard to the sexes, all distinctions are discriminatory and harmful. The state must enforce sexual equality.
With regard to the sexes there are biological and beneficial differences between male and female with roles appropriate to each sex. The state should not legislate against these natural roles.
