This box is really
simple to make and everyone that gets one, just love them.
The box can be covered
with paper, I just spray paint mine with whatever I have on hand.
This was some metallic paint in gold.
This rose's that are
on the top are ribbon roses, easily made from wired ribbon, available at
local craft stores. Simply pull one side of the wire and gather,
I use about 12 inches for a full rose and 7 inches for a rose bud.
Simply put on a dowel rod or pencil, and go around, folding the end under,
stitch or glue. I do put some hot glue on the end to keep it together.
To make the leaves take a 6 inch piece of green ribbon, I use one that
has variegated colors, and gather the same way. Fold in half and
secure, glue or stitch, I wrap the ends that I pulled out around the end
of the leaf.
I then glue the leaves
on first followed by the roses and fill in with some silk Baby's Breath
or similar type flower.
