9/30/05 - The race originally scheduled for November 5, in Garwin, Iowa has been Cancelled. The club has decided to forego the race pending the construction of their new track. They and we feel that it is in the racers best interest not to run this race in the bean field that it has traditionally been run in. There are safety and other concerns that led to this decision. Please understand the clubs position and look forward to a new and more modern facitlity in the future.
10/17/06 - ISDRS Held its first grass drag of the season outside of Cresco, Iowa. While the turn out was fiarly light, the racing was intense. Especially in the stock classes where Veteran racers Aaron Martin, Marty Dostal, Jamie Waack and last years 2005 NSRA semi-pro Stock driver of the year Carmen Erhardt battled it out. The fans definitely got what they paid for while watching the stock, modified and trail stock classes. Alot of podium finishes were swapped around. With no one driver taking home all of the gold.

Photos have been posted on the photos page. Keep in mind, if you were at the race and have more photos be sure to email them to us for posting. Results will be posted soon

ISDRS would like to thank the Driftrunners for their hospitality and continued support of Drag Racing in Iowa. ISDRS' next stop will be Oct. 29th at the fairgrounds in Marshalltown, Iowa. The Central Iowa Snowmobilers, with the help of some sponsors, have invested over $5,000 into a Grass Drag Dedicated track at that Facility.  This is definitely not a race to miss.
10/24/06 - A new feature has been added to our web site, a for sale page. Email us with your snowmobile racing realted items for sale and we will be more than happy to post them for you. Please keep photo sizes and numbers to a minimum as this is a free sit and it only allows us so much data, and data transfer.
