Western Bulldogs v Fremantle
Round 15 - Saturday July 14, 2:10pm
In round 1 this year the Bulldogs lost to St Kilda. While it wasn't surprising after the match between the 2 teams the year before, the Dogs were expected to beat them and do so convincingly.

This week, the Bulldogs come up against the Fremantle Dockers, who have yet to win a game this year. This is a real test for the Dogs who have become known as losing to teams they should win against.

On paper, the Bulldogs should beat Fremantle all over the ground, in the midfield, forward line and back line. However, round 1 shows that anything can happen when you have a desire to win.

After recent thrashings by Carlton and Essendon, the Bulldogs have lost considerable percentage. This match provides a chance to regain some of that lost percentage.

After poor performaces against Carlton, Kingsly Hunter and Nathan Eagleton were dropped to vfl side Werribee. However, they have managed to get back in to the side this week, along with young guns Robert Murphy and Jordan McMahon.

Out of the side goes Rohan Smith, unfit to play after a collision with Bomber Sean Wellman last week, which resulted in a two match suspension. Other omissions include Todd Curely, Adam Contessa and Trent Bartlett.
