Hi Sharon,
Just had to look at your site again. I must say your introduction sounds so much like how I feel it's strange. Like you read my mind.Thailand will forever be the peak experience of my life!!! I can't honestly say if it was those particular years of my life, the friends I made, the parties, the dances, the food, the air, or all of it together!!! But it doesn't really matter as long as I have the memories.
I haven't seen you since that time in San Francisco when a bunch of us got together. I went to the reunion in Virginia but could only be there for an hour so don't know who went. I saw Wilkerson and Brandes but no one else I knew. Been busy with work and family for the last ten years. Kids made me quit drinking and pretty much all else! HA!! They'll do that to you  Let me know if you all have another mini reunion close to here. (Weed CA)   My E-mail is : [email protected]  (I'm at work now)

Love your web site!!!!       John Gaustad

Found ya!
Hey, I got your e-mail a couple weeks ago. I am not the best e-mail correspondent, but wanted to answer up. I only found the ISB alumni two years ago. I made the reunion at Atlanta and the one in Williamsburg-seen lots of people I had forgotten all about. Inquired about you- wish you could have been there. Been a long thirty years or so. I see Dee once in a while and Kasia as they both live in south florida. I lived sixty miles from Elder for eleven years but never knew it. I worked around the corner from Lora Yount in Virginia and never knew it. Visited your web site- it's quite a piece of work. Don't know if we will make the next reunion or not- it's always a spur of the moment thing.

I've received some wonderful e-mail and I wanted to share some of it with you.
Let me know what you've been up to and I'll pass it on.  And again, Thank you
so much for all the encouragement and support.

Big hugs and kisses to you all!
Sawadee Sharon!!     Just a quick note to say hello.Jim DeGering here from the class of
71 at ISB. You may not even remember me, but I say ran across your name on the overseas
bratts website. I am trying to get a little info on the upcoming reunion in Kansas.
(It's the class of 71's 30th anniversary...wow has it really been that long?)  Anyway, my email is [email protected]  It would be great to hear from old friends. I have to check out your other websites and catch up on things. I'm a paramedic/firefighter for a large fire department, married (our 25th wedding anniversary is this month),I have 6 great kids and love life.

Keep in touch. Jimbo
Sharon,
At least I think I remember who you are. I went back to the yahoo page and saw your name was Sharon Smith. Did you have brown (dark) hair cut about chin length? I think I remember you as a cheerleader too. I was a crossover between the jocks and the partiers. I played soccer, and swam, and water-skied every weekend in pataya. Allot of friends I had were brits since I grew up in Thailand before the yanks came in. Mike Daly was one of my best friends and still is. We talk at least twice a week and see each other a few times a year. Allot of people I hang with now are descendants from ISB but rang from class of '66 to '78. In fact tonight is a birthday party for Wayne Brough, (sister Ora, or Aura from our class). Wayne was class of '76. Ora lives in Florida and has an art gallery. When I was in Fl. (before moving here) I used to see Kasia Wasilewski and Dee Medlin fairly often. I had brown hair at ISB, as long as they would allow, now I use my head for bald jokes. Occasional sports, mostly too tired after work but I try. Well got to work again.

Hi Sharon,
My name is Chung Rigby and I ran into your web site. I went to Pusan American High School in Pusan Korea 69-71 and my experience is exactly as you describe yours. We were especially close because we lived in dorms. I lost all of them until last year when I found some of them at the Militarybrat web site. Over the years they had small reunions but this June I held the first organized reunion ever. Everyone had so much fun, stayed up until 4 am, people didn't want it to end, girls cried and yes it took all of us weeks to get back to work. Since then I have created a web site to find rest of the Pusan classmates. We are the panthers also. I have been teaching myself how to build a web site and when I ran into yours, I was very impressed. Come visit the web site at www.pahsreunion.com. I am trying different formats all the time. I bought a number of software and hopefully will find one that will let me get good as you.

Well, just wanted to say hi.   Chung Rigby
Hey!  How you doin'?
Every time I log onto your site I regress to the late 60s!!! The feelings are incredible!! I just can't express how fantastic it feels to be able to experience that all over again. I suppose if I can swing it I will get some of that in Bangkok.  But you know what they say about never being able to go back. I went back to Germany a few times after I graduated there and it just wasn't the same without the people. You are what makes this site what it is!! If I can't get to BKK then I'll shot for Phoenix. (you think they could have found a hotter place in August???)   Have you moved yet? What's happening?  Drop me a line and let me know. I can't seem to get much info from the rest of the web ring.

Thanks a bunch for all you do!    JOHN

I was just looking at your site again.  I love to visit, I get this really good feeling and my
mind wanders all over Bangkok, the people, the school, the places!  It's just an amazing feeling...kind of like being young and foolish again!  I really think I'll be at the next reunion.
I have vacation time and it's not too far away!  I hope to see you there.  Keep up the good work!

Love ya lots!
John
