The Holy Days are now upon us. This is indeed an important time for Mortis, for this is when Vivoria enters His realm between Deepchill 19th through Deepchill 30th. She visits with Him for these twelve days to represent each month of the year.
Mortis brings our souls to His realm as a comfort. He spares our bodies from the rigorous tasks that life can bring upon us and gives them a greater peace. Mortis and Vivoria are graceful to all. It matters not to them who you are. Elven? Human? Scorpien? Salamae? Canis? Kestrel? Gnome? Dryad? Dwarven?... None of this matters for Mortis. He still comforts you and grants you peace from their terrible acts while Vivoria graces you with her touch and gives you life once again.
it is times like these when our homes an families have been invaded that Mortis and Vivoria work Their hardest to protect us. As the Orcs and Orgos challenge our bodies, minds and souls, Mortis grants you peace from their terrible acts while Vivoria graces you so you may return to defeat such hideousness.
That's why not only Their worshippers should thank them but each and every one of you should as well. For what would you do if Mortis were not there to give you this comfort and peace? Death is often mistaken as a bad thing. Everyone fears death but why? There are much greater things to fear. Death is your body and mind saying I can't take this anymore and it gives into His peace. Your mind, body and soul finally at peace. Does that sound like a bad thing to you? It certainly doesn't to me.
