When I was just a child, Orcs invaded our hometown and killed most of the people in my town as well as my parents. I was able to run and escape from the tragedy along with a few other children. I came along a group of nomads and started to travel around with them where I learned various trades. Until one day where I came upon a Gypsy tribe that reminded me more of home. A small group within the tribe had triggered my interest. They often would sit together and talk to the spirits of the dead and take the knowledge learned from them and advise people of what would happen. Not many believed them and others were often consumed with interest and often would stay and learn with us. Most of the time I would just sit and watch and not really say anything or participate. I was so intrigued with the way they would speak to the spirits and hoped that one day I could learn to do the same.

I went in search of something more, more interests, more knowledge. I wanted to become closer with the spirits and wanted to find other people with the same interest to see how they would do it differently. That's when I came across Sable.  A city so large and so busy! I quietly made my way through town and learn of a small academy. I entered the academy and graduated within days. Then I knew it was time to earn my way and take care of myself.

The tribe always took care of each other and now it was time for me to not rely on anyone but myself. Not really knowing anyone, I roamed around town and down to a farm where I would learn more about myself and what I needed to do.

I had heard of some guilds in the area and I felt that the Mage's guild would be a good starting point for me but all the people and noise was just not for me.  I then leanred of a Sorceror's guild located on an island called Thrace. I made my way to the boats and traveled a hundred miles across the sea to discover a beautiful island. I was astonished that there were not more people there. The weather was great and it reminded me so much of when I was growing up with my parents. It seems to me that it could even be where I was originally from.

I remember sitting downstairs at the entrance of this large tower for the longest time just in awe of what was standing before me. I think I was a little nervous to walk inside as well. Not knowing what was at the top of the stairs and if I would fit in or not.

I learned there was no reason to fear anything. I received a warm welcome when I entered the guild and was instructed on what I needed to do so they could give me a tour of the large tower. Without wasting time, I did everything they asked me to and Delphine gave me my tour. I was tested at the end to see if I was ready to begin my studies within the guild. I passed the test with flying colors and Delphine as well as the rest of the guild congratulated me on my sucess.

I then went to the library in search of a mentor. It was a requirement for an apprentice to have one. I read a few and then finally came across one that really caught my eye. That was the one of Jasol's I had not quite made my decision but I was relatively sure this was the man I wish to learn under. It was actually another guildmate that had told me to stay away from him that made me want to learn from Jasol even more.

I wrote Jasol a letter asking him if we could meet and discuss a possible apprenticeship under him. After talking to him for a bit and explaining my interests with the guild and my interest in hopefully being accepted into another guild in the future he accepted me. He explained to me what he expected of me and what I should expect from him. He then told me that he would not only be my mentor but he would be my friend and hoped that we would grow together like a family.

He was right about becoming lika a family. He introduce me to his other mentee, Daekyn and the three of us get along very well. Jasol also introduce me to several of his friends and they were all very nice and helpful to me. There was one person that he introduced me to that is very important to him. That was his brother (clansman and churchmate) Xenoroyal. He was so tall and ruggedly handsome. He had all this armor on and so there was no guessing that he was in the Fighters guild. I instantly was attracted to him but I didn't dare show that. I kept to myself for I knew I needed to keep my interests to my studies.

Xenoroyal was very helpful to me. He would sharpen my daggers for me when I would go hunting and we seem to get along really well. As I was talking to him one day I learned that he had never had a Gypsy drink, so I invited him to come out to Thrace and try it out. In which he did. We spent hours just talking and drinking. I learned so much about him and realized we were alot alike. I had mentioned to him during the conversation that the Sorc's were getting ready to have a date auction and I was trying to find someone to come bid on me so I wouldn't get stuck ...
