Last night I had a crazy dream a wish was granted just for me it could be for anything I didn't ask for money or a mansion in Malibu I simply wished for one more day with you! One more day, one more time one more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied but then again, I know what it would do Leave me wishing still for one more day with you one more day........... First thing I'd do is pray for time to crawl I'd unplug the telephone and keep the t.v. off I'd hold you every second say a million I love you's that's what I'd do with one more day with you One more day, one more time one more sunset maybe I'd be satisfied but then again I know what it would do leave me wishing still for one more day with you one more day, one more time one more sunset maybe I'd be satisfied but then again I know what it would do leave me wishing still for one more day leave me wishing still for one more day leave me wishing still for one more day with you.

In Loving Memory Of
My Mother, Dorothy {Dot} Ickes

Do not stand by my grave and weep, as I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints of snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

I have made this page in memory of my mother, Dorothy {Dot, Dottie, or Auntie Bert to everyone else}, born April 20, 1933, passed away June 13, 1997, to pay tribute to a woman who made a very special difference in each and every human being that she had ever met in her ,not long enough, lifetime and especially to her family. She was the mother of 3 children, Cathy, Scott, and myself, the grandmother of Britnee, Meghan, Michael Jr., and Rebecca, and the wife of her beloved, Ned. My mother was a woman who worked all her life to make life easier for her family and if any of us ever needed "anything" that she could possibly help us with she gave until she couldn't give anymore. She was a member of "The Strings & Keys" band which her and my father kept together for many many years. The picture above on the right is of that band and something that I must let everyone know, because I am so proud of her, all of the outfits that you see the band wearing were hand sewn by herself which took many tedious hours to make. Altogether, her and my father had been playing music for a total of 43 years and I guess that's why, once I grew up, my favorite music to listen to was and still is "Country". She had many talents, but one specific talent that she had was designing what we all called her "Rock Garden", which if you could have seen it, you would wonder where anyone would ever get the idea to do such a thing, but, it was a garden that had people from different states taking Sunday drives just to get a look at it. There are so many more things that I could tell you about my mom, but I don't think you want to read a book so I am going to close for now with these words, If you never knew my mom I really wish you would have because she was one of the most wonderful people anyone could ever want to know, and if you did know her, then you are definitely one of the lucky ones in this world and you already know how special she was.

Mom, I miss you more than you could ever imagine and I wish that God would have given you a little more time with us so that you could have watched your grandchildren grow up, but I know that he must have had very big plans for you up there and now you will make a difference in each and every person's life here on earth. I love you and miss you "My Sweet Angel"!!!

Your Loving Daughter,
Tammy
