I am being recruited to be the Web content guy for the site. Basically John doesn't have time and the job is relatively easy (i.e., doesn't require huge techie skills). But that is what you and I talked about on the phone. Are you still interested in tackling it? I can help if need be, but I don't want to be the only one. I'm better as a writer (see my piece about patriotism on the site), and my time is limited.
Also, I need somebody to edit me. Otherwise the stuff I post will be flawed. Eventually there will be other writers who need an editor. Do you want to be that person? Or one of those people? I am the only word person who has been identified as such, so all of these jobs are falling on me -- and I don't believe in all of them. For example, I think creating a print newsletter is a big waste when we still don't have a single snail-mail address (or stamps). But I think the Web and the letter-writing efforts are worthwhile.
So what do you think? Are you swamped too? I'm a little nervous being "the face" for some aspect of this effort, but I guess somebody has to do it. You in?
