Michael has remained closed off to the world for a long time. But when Liz Parker got shot and then healed, he had to face the fact that he was falling inlove with Maria DeLuca, a human. Michael has no problem with standing up for what he believes in, and is fiercely loyal to the people he loves. Michael has trouble controlling his powers, and believes he is bad after he killed Agent Pierce in self-defense. He thinks that he is the bad alien, and that Max is the good, that Max uses his powers to heal, and he himself uses them to kill. Michael is determined to find the other 4 aliens, just as he was once determined to find Nasedo. Michael was, up until recently, under the so-called 'care' of Hank Guerin, his alcoholic foster father, but Michael sought emancipitaion and is now free from Hank's violent ways (Hank, by the way, is dead, killed by Nasedo).
Deep down underneath, Michael is sensitive, and doesn't know what he'd do without his friends. |
