Okay, so these games take place on the Planet of Weyard and certain people have abilities called "Psynergy." Depending on the person, they can use the elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, also known as Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury. There are also little creatures around Weyard called Djinn that join you and add their strenght to yours. They also are of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury.
There is a lot of dialogue in Golden Sun. I mean A LOT of dialogue... They should've made a book and I would have been like, "LOOK! I've read SEVEN books! Not six!! SEVEN!!" hahahaha. (I've really read more books than that... lol) I love the story! There are quite a few twists, though. The characters are very cute. Ivan is sweet and very smart. He's a Jupiter Elemental. Isaac's the silent protagonist (well, in the first game), and he's an Earth Elemental. Garet is from Isaac's hometown. He's kinda annoying, but a good asset for your party. He's like a rock. You should throw him at someone... If you can lift him... He's a Mars Elemental. Then there's Mia. She's a Mercury Adept (or Elemental.. I just realized it was easier to type). She heals your party. YAY FOR MIA!! ♥ ♥
In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, *sigh* Isaac, unfortunately, is not your main character. He's not even in your party... for quite a while. The main character is Felix. He's ALMOST a silent protagonist. But he spoke in the first game. He's an Earth Adept. His sister Jenna is with him. She's a Mars Adept. Then, there's this girl Sheba, who was at the end of the first game. She's a Jupiter Adept. Then there was Piers (or if you're into the Japanese game, Picard). He's, of course, the Mecury Adept of the party.
