Okay, so I'm at school sitting in Biology and along comes Sky. She shoves the manga book in my face and says, "You MUST read it!" I took one look, saw the word pirates, and I took it right out of her hands. I was hooked. Read the first six books before the show ever came on television. And Luffy was not Loofy during that whole time, so you can imagine how disappointed I was when the show did come out. But the show was still great. Still is great, but it happens to be ahead of the manga, which makes me sad.
Anyway... I've gotta go take some time to figure out what I need to say here....
I adore Luffy's hat and the original story behind it. I love Oda-sama as a manga-ka. He makes a lot of sense to me. It's really easy for me to read about what he has to say about his manga/manga. Usually, I just skip what the artist has to say *slaps self* bad me! With One Piece, though, I sometimes skip a lot of the manga just to read what Oda has to say. He seems like a really funny and cool guy. Plus he's always wanted to paint on animals. XP
