Tohru Honda: Tohru is the nicest high school girl ever. (hahaha). But her mom dies and she ends up living in a tent. The people who own the property, the Sohma family, end up finding her and invite her to stay with them... But she soon discovers a major Sohma family secret...
Kyo Sohma: Kyo-kun!! He turns into a cat! He's my favorite character. He's quite a bit of a hot-head, but he has a huge heart.
Yuki Sohma: Yuki... well, Yuki scares me. He turns into a rat. He and Kyo can't stand each other, but for Tohru's sake, they begin to tolerate one another.
Shigure Sohma: Shigure is hilarious. I used to love him to death, but recent developments... well, Shigure is really beginning to creep me out... He turns into a dog.
Akito Sohma: EVIL!!! EVIL!!
Hatsuharu Sohma: Hatsuharu is my third favorite character, Tohru being my second. He turns into a cow. ♥ ♥ He also has two personalities: Black Haru and White Haru.
Momiji Sohma: Momiji turns into a bunny. And he's a boy, not a girl. He's sooo cute in the Japanese version, but he just plain scares me in the English version...
Hatori Sohma: Hatori is the family doctor. He most often checks in on Akito and Yuki, these two being the most frail. Akito blinded one of his eyes. Evil Akito. But Hatori is probably my favorite of the older Junishi (they turn into animals). He's the year of the dragon and he turns into a Seahorse! *heart*
Ayame Sohma: Ayame is Yuki's older brother. He has really long white hair and he makes *ahem* "costumes" for women... o.O He turns into a snake... And he scares me.
Kagura Sohma: She is totally in love with Kyo... But her emotions carry her away, and she ends up beating the crap outta him all the time. So Kyo's always running away from and avoiding her.
Kisa Sohma: Kisa is a quiet sweet girl and she turns into a tiger.
Hiro Sohma: He's a... well... I dunno, at first he seems like a jerk, but the truth is, he just really, really likes Kisa and he doesn't want her to get hurt again (Akito hurt Kisa because Hiro liked her). Yeah, so he likes Kisa and he turns out to be really sweet. He turns into a sheep. ^^
Ritsu Sohma: Ritsu turns into a monkey. And despite appearances, Ritsu is really a guy...
Kureno Sohma: Kureno is year of the rooster. He has a shocking story. And he really needs to get the heck away from Akito.
Rin (Izuzu) Sohma: She is the year of the horse. She's really cool, in my opinion. No matter how hard she tries not to be, she's really dependent on others. She was once Hatsuharu's girlfriend, but to protect him from Akito, she broke up with him. She was pushed out the window on the second floor by Akito when (s)he found out about her and Haru. After that, she suffered a lot of physical illness. :(
Uo: Uo is one of Tohru's best friends. She was once in a gang and she's really tough. She fell in love with Kureno.
Hanajima: Hana is Tohru's other best friend. She reads electrical waves. ^^; She always says that Shishou is her type and it drives Kyo mad... speaking of which
Shishou: Shishou was Kyo's (and Haru's, too... probably everyone else's as well) martial arts trainer. He's one of the Sohma, though not a Junishi. Shishou raised Kyo as his son. ♥
