Recently, there are innumerable and hazardous wastes on the earth. Many professional scientists make researches in the wastes. Accordingly, there is a good way of the garbage graveyard in which wastes are spread out in thin layers, compacted and covered with a fresh layer of clay and plastic foam. They prevent the leakage which is called “Leachate” ( garbage juice in short ). It’s very capable for the wastes more than old land fills.

3. Rodents and insects cannot thrive.
4. The costs are low.
5. A huge amount of solid waste can be handled.
6. The operation is quickly.
7. After the operation, the ground can be graded, planted, and used as a park, a golf course, a ski hill, an athletic field, a wildlife area, or for some other recreational purpose.

1. They cause traffic, noise, and dust; most also emit toxic gasses during the operation.
2. It’s very slow for the wastes such as papers and other biodegradable things to be broken down in the land fill.

Generally, the underground anaerobic decomposition of organic wastes at landfills emit poisonous and harmful gasses such as methane and toxic hydrogen sulfide, into the air. However, a sanitary land fill can be equipped to collect these gasses using vent pipes. In addition, saving energy, using the methane gas from all large landfills would lower atmospheric emissions of heat-trapping methane and help reduce the global warming. One big serious problem is thousands of old landfills don’t have any devices and contrivances. That’s why the waste’s problems are taken notice of global warming, contaminated environment and surroundings on the earth. Also, if the toxic garbage

juice, Leachate oozes out to the ground water, it’s extremely expensive and difficult ( impossible ) to clean up.

I consider that a sanitary landfill is noteworthy for disposing the wastes, because environmental pollution can be decreased. It’s great for people as well as environment to use the sanitary landfill systems. Also, it seems that the sanitary landfill deprive present and future generations of valuable reusable, recyclable resources and encourage waste production instead of pollution prevention and waste reduction. I wonder how each country disposes their wastes. It’s no longer ordinary problem, it means that all wastes, excepting for using the sanitary landfill, have influence on the earth and us. Overpopulation in developed countries take wastes as matter of course, but we have to think of reducing impacts of consumption; to not output much. We must recommend a sanitary landfill. It appears that we cannot see and feel about the problems, but we get even with pollution of our surroundings.
